Newsweek - Creative Director
1990-1994
• Directed the development of all corporate promotion, public relation and marketing materials. Newsweek National Special Advertising Sections, and Newsweek custom publishing products.
• Implemented the Macintosh Computer system for the Promotion, Marketing,
Creative services and special advertising section departments, saving Newsweek over 1 million annually in design and typesetting charges.
• Restructured the Art department by implementing Desktop Publishing, a comprehensive
trafficking system and carefully monitoring all costs while taking the department to award winning standards.
• Managed a staff of 5 full time designers and art directors, plus freelancers.
• Directed and created the corporate identity program for Newsweek InterActive CD-ROM product, including retail packaging, displays, marketing and promotion materials.
• Directed and created the 20th Anniversary Special Magazine for Disney World.
